Booling’s prototype plastic injection molding technology is developed on the basis of traditional injection molding production, with faster production speed, higher fault tolerance, and more flexible design.

Silicone mold: According to the provided 3D drawings, our operators pour the vulcanized silicone rubber into the prototype mold to directly make the silicone rubber mold. Silicone rubber material has good toughness and elasticity and is easy to form.

Metal spray forming: Using a prototype as a sample, melting a low melting point metal and spraying it onto the surface of the substrate with compressed air to form a coating and make a mold. Booling’s customized metal spray-forming mold does not require complex processes, has a short production time, and can form fine patterns on the cavity and surface in one go, eliminating the steps of design drawings and CNC machining in traditional mold processing.

Resin-type composite mold: mainly mixing liquid epoxy resin and organic or inorganic materials in a certain proportion with the matrix material, and then casting the mold according to the prototype. The main processes of Booling technology include prototype design, prototype production and surface treatment, mold frame design, and production, parting surface design, application of release agent on the surface, concave-convex mold casting (note that after the concave mold is made, an appropriate amount of release agent should be applied to the surface of the prototype and parting surface), and then parting and demolding after molding. Applying a release agent can effectively prevent the surface of the mold from reducing its performance due to friction.
