Booling provides HDPE product manufacturing services for various industries such as packaging, medical, daily necessities, and construction industries, and has been well received by manufacturers in Germany, Spain, South Korea, India, Mexico, and other countries.
Characteristics of HDPE Injection Molding Materials
High-density polyethylene is a common thermoplastic in the field of injection molding. It has a wide range of uses and has unique properties and feasibility of injection molding.
- HDPE is opaque white waxy, soft and tough, non-toxic and odorless, and has high crystallinity
- It has excellent anti-aging properties and can be used outdoors for a long time without cracking
- It has a high melting point can withstand processing temperatures of 120℃~150℃, and has good thermal stability
- It can be seamlessly integrated with injection molding technology to produce products of various shapes and complex designs
HDPE Injection Molding Process
Booling provides a highly automated injection molding process for rapid manufacturing.
- HDPE granules or powder are fed into the hopper of the injection molding machine, melted, and homogenized by the rotating screw
- The HDPE material reaches the required temperature and viscosity and is injected into the mold cavity under high pressure through the nozzle to achieve molding. HDPE has excellent fluidity after heating and melting, which can ensure uniform distribution in the cavity and accurately reproduce the details of the cavity
- After the molten plastic fills the cavity, it starts to hold pressure and cool. In this process, Booling uses water cooling and other coolant circulation methods to cool the product
- After the HDPE is fully cooled and solidified, the mold is opened and the ejection system ejects the finished product. HDPE has a low shrinkage rate and can maintain the expected shape and size structure after ejection
- HDPE injection molded products produce less flash and higher material utilization. Operators perform post-processing such as printing, painting, and welding according to specific applications.
Application of HDPE Injection Molding
As a common material in the field of injection molding, HDPE can achieve rapid delivery of injection-molded products in various industries.
- HDPE injection molding is often used in applications such as plastic bottles, packaging bags, food packaging boxes, etc.
- The material has excellent corrosion resistance and durability and is used in the manufacture of pipes wires and cables
- With good weather resistance and stability, Booling can use HDPE technology to produce agricultural films and irrigation pipes
- Used in the manufacture of trash cans, storage boxes, toys and furniture, etc., with excellent mechanical properties
