- Remove oxides, dust, and other impurities on the surface of the steel
- The blank with a large part of the surplus can be removed and cut in advance to reduce subsequent processing steps
- Use a large-diameter milling cutter to perform rough milling on the mold to ensure that the flatness of the plane meets certain requirements and provides a more stable benchmark. Use contour milling or spiral milling to mill down layer by layer until it approaches the final contour or shape of the mold
- During the rough processing of the mold, regularly use calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools to measure key dimensions, and pay close attention to the wear of the tool to ensure the accuracy of rough processing

Heat Treatment of Car Spoiler Mold
The use of a heat treatment scheme after the rough processing of the mold can significantly improve the overall performance of the car spoiler mold and improve its toughness and hardness.
- Slowly heat the mold keep it warm, and slowly cool it. The purpose of this step is to eliminate the stress generated during the processing and prevent the mold from deforming or cracking due to stress in subsequent processing.
- Perform quenching treatment to prevent thermal stress from being generated by controlling the heating rate, which may cause deformation or cracking of the mold.
- Perform 2 to 3 tempering treatments to fully eliminate the stress generated by quenching and further stabilize the internal structure of the mold. The mold needs to be cooled to room temperature after each tempering.
- After the heat treatment is completed, the hardness tester needs to be used to ensure that the final hardness meets the design requirements

- The car spoiler has special structures such as curved surfaces, and a five-axis linkage machining center is required to ensure a smooth transition and high precision of the curved surface to obtain higher surface quality
- Reasonably adjust the cutting and feeding speeds according to the selected tool or mold quality requirements to ensure machining accuracy while improving machining efficiency
